Dom and Ollie are rather beautiful semi-feral grey and white 9 month old brothers. They are very much a work in progress, although their current fosterer says that she is noticing encouraging improvements day by day. Both are still very timid and cautious of being handled and will need time to trust you and feel comfortable. Providing lots of safe, warm hiding places will help in this.
Dom, as his name suggests, is the dominant character. He loves his food, eats very quickly, and can tend to dominate proceedings. Ollie stays back until Dom has finished, so any adopter may well need to consider microchip-controlled feeders to ensure Ollie gets his fair share. Dom will protect his brother and sometimes puts his arm around him when grooming which actually Ollie appears to quite like. They both play together a lot and are very much still kittens, leaping high into the air in excitement. When exhausted, they appreciate a sofa or comfortable chair to snooze on!
We are looking for a committed and experienced cat person who would like to take on the potentially hugely rewarding challenge of helping Dom and Ollie to continue to gain confidence through love, patience and understanding, so that they will be happy around humans. They will need to be allowed to take things at their own pace, as you cannot rush something like this. An indoor home with either a conservatory or catio is required as if they are let free to roam, then you will probably never see them again. No children and no other pets please.
Technical bits: Both cats are neutered and microchipped and will be vaccinated before homing. They will go home with 5 weeks free pet insurance.
If you would like to give these brothers the safe home and second chance that they deserve, complete the adoption form or email us.
