Austin is a big chunky boy, aged between 3-6 years, who has been living outside and scared for about a year. He is an unusual ‘black smoke’ colour – black with white roots giving the ‘smoke’ effect. He has gradually become friendly and now sleeps at his feeder’s home overnight. Unfortunately the resident cat is not tolerating him, so that Austin has to go out during the day. Otherwise he would probably stay in most of the time.
Austin is currently on a diet as he weighs in at 7kg! Needless to say, he loves his food! He is FIV positive so will need to be homed away from other male cats, although his feeder has never seen him start a fight. He would be ok with young female cats. His feeder says Austin is a friendly boy although a little wary, loves a chin and neck tickle and, despite not being keen on his back being touched, will allow her to pick him up.
Austin is neutered and microchipped and will be vaccinated before homing. He will go home with 5 weeks free insurance.
