Austin is a big chunky boy, aged approximately 4 years old. He has been living outside and scared since 2023. Austin is an unusual ‘black smoke’ colour – black with white roots giving the ‘smoke’ effect. He has gradually become friendly and now sleeps at his feeder’s home overnight. Unfortunately the resident cat is not tolerating him so that Austin has to go out during the day, otherwise he would probably stay in most of the time lounging on the bed!
Austin is currently on a diet as he is a very hefty boy and loves his food rather too much! His feeder says Austin is a friendly boy although a little wary of new people, once he knows you, loves a chin, neck and tummy tickle and is very ‘kissy’. Given a little time to settle, Austin will be a cuddly lap cat and will quietly sleep on your bed, if allowed! He does need some exercise however, and would appreciate access to a secure outdoor space.
Austin is FIV positive. Cats with FIV can live a normal and happy life.
Technical Bits: Austin is neutered and microchipped and is fully vaccinated. He will go home with 5 weeks free insurance.
