Here is Mr Mitcham (‘Mitch’) who is around 9 years old and has been straying without a home of his own for 5 years. He is FIV positive. He came into care with a neck abscess and badly needing a dental poor boy, but these have now been sorted out.
Mr Mitcham will need a very experienced and understanding owner as he is not used to regular human company. He is a feisty character and well used to fighting his own corner, so he would like people to respect his space whilst he learns to trust. He can be grumpy, hissy and swipes a lot (although with claws in or half- in) but has decided he quite likes some home comforts and does not particularly want to spend his time outside. All he wants is his food, a comfy bed and toys as he now plays like a kitten.
Mr Mitcham dislikes other cats. Occasional access to a secure outdoor space would be preferable. No children.
Technical bits: Mr Mitcham is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. He will go home with 5 weeks free insurance.
