This is a special appeal for Smokey who has just lost his home as sadly his owner has now moved into a retirement home and was unable to take him with her. Smokey finds himself much in need of a special person to offer him home comforts again as he is currently in a cattery out of necessity. Can you help?
This sweet, gentle 12-year-old boy is an independent spirit who likes to come and go freely as this is what he is used to. Access to a secure outdoor space is essential, but he also likes his home comforts to come back to.
Smokey has been well-cared for and obviously loved. Although a little cautious at first, with a gentle approach, Smokey’s tail goes up and he soon accepts some strokes. He will be fine to be left to his own devices if you are not around all the time. No young children.
Originally thought to be around 18 years old, it has since come to light that he is much younger, so we feel he is a better candidate for adoption as he should still hopefully have many good years left in him.
